Have you ever tasted Pepero?
Today I will be giving you a review/ taste test post about tirimasu cheese pepero!
Pepero is made by a company called Lotte
Actually, when I first heard the name I thought it wouldn't taste so appetising. I don't really like coffee, I'm more of the hot chocolate sort of person. In addition the combination with cheese sounds..a bit off putting.
However, as I like trying new things and I didn't want to judge a book buys it's cover.. I decided to give it a shot and try it. I opened the pepero box, and cut open the plastic packaging which was quite hard to open so I grabbed my nifty scissors and snipped the corner.

| I think the box and the presentation looks quite appealing. |
When I saw the box, I thought that it was themed for Pepero day. Pepero day is a day where people give and eat Pepero. You would normally see couples giving it to each other, parents giving it to their children, girls giving it to their friends.. but for a guy to give it to another guy isn't really common.
Pepero day is when you give pepero to your loved ones
However it's also like a marketing strategy for Lotte, they most likely make a lot of sales that day. Lol
As you can see at the back of the box, their is a heart memo, in which you write a message on like a card and space to write To and From.

The pepero stick is similar to the nude pepero. A crispy biscuit layer surrounding a chocolate centre. The chocolate centre is thick, it's filled just enough to balance with the crispy outer layer of the pepero stick.
It tasted nice!
The tirimasu taste was present, but it wasn't a strong taste of it and the pepero size was like the actual size of the pepero displayed on the box.
See you next time~
My next post will be in Korean ^^
